In-mold labelling is the decoration process using paper or plastic labels during the manufacturing of containers by blow molding, injection molding, or thermoforming processes. The label serves as the integral part of the final product, which is then delivered as decorated item.[1] Combining the decoration process with the molding process cuts processing steps and minimize waste and pollution.

Silkscreen-printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The image forms as open area of mesh that allows ink to pass through the mesh leaving a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas.
